Whole-home renovation · Fontana, WI (Geneva Lake)
A full renovation of a lake home at Abbey Springs: five bathrooms, a new kitchen, a front porch and patio addition, and all new landscaping.
Second homes on Geneva Lake get used hard for three months and sit for nine. This one needed everything at once: five bathrooms, the kitchen, a new front porch and patio, and the whole landscape. We ran it as one project with one schedule so the owners weren't living through a year of separate contractors.
The before-and-after tells it. A dated two-story with a flat front became a house with a real entry: timber-post covered porch, stone piers, a bluestone patio with an outdoor living area, and landscaping that ties it to the lot. We rendered the porch before we built it, and the built version is the rendering.
Inside: a new kitchen with a reclaimed-look island and dark hickory floors, built-in dining storage, a stone fireplace, a sunroom, and five bathrooms that each got their own look: navy tile, wallpaper, plaid, a skylit marble bath and a walk-in tile shower.
Every project here started with a phone call and a range.
